Nehemiah Action

GOAL held its first ever Nehemiah Action on March 28th with over 1500 people coming together to do justice! At this year's Nehemiah Action, Greenville's Mayor, and a majority of City Council, committed to work towards $10MM a year for affordable housing, with one third of that going to families most in need--those making 30% of the area median income and below. 

GOAL also received similar commitments from several Greenville County Council members, and is continuing to push forward on addressing the statewide need for $3.9MM to fund the 988 call center
